Join Australia’s largest recreation count, where volunteers count walkers, runners, riders and even dogs using recreational paths and trails across Australia. The data collected is vital for governments to understand the community’s participation in active recreation at a local, state and federal level.
When is the count?
- 9am-1pm, Sunday 12 November.
Where does the count take place?
Have a look at our map to see the sites available this year. It’s first come first served – so the earlier you register, the more options you’ll have to choose from!
What do I receive as a volunteer?
All volunteers receive a $60 or $120 (2 hour / 4 hour count) donation to a local charity, organisation or club of their choice. It’s a great fundraising opportunity! Plus, if you register by 1 November you’ll also receive a Bicycle Network water bottle and lanyard to identify you as a counter!
